Horizontal cement silos

Horizontal cement silos are ideal accessories for BLEND concrete mixers. Their great advantage is maximum mobility. The external dimensions make it possible to move on standard platform semi-trailers, but also inside tarpaulin trailers or box trailers. The silos can be equipped with a special lifting device for loading and unloading without the need for a crane. Foundations for installation are not needed, it is sufficient to prepare adequately flat and compacted site.

In order to optimally check the state of the cement supply, the force can be provided with weight sensors. When BLEND volumetric mixers are used as stationary concrete plants, the cement silo can be directly connected to its control unit. Refill of the mixer cement tank is then carried out continuously as needed, the production of concrete need not be interrupted and production volume can be higher. This solution is cheaper than the use of vertical silos, and thanks to the compatibility of the mixer and horizontal silo, it is also maximally effective.
